Project “KA” team visited three schools at the remote areas of Lalmonirhat district to spread the IT knowledge to the students lacking behind in IT facilities and support. Project “KA” team spent the entire day with more than 800 students among them 350 were girls students. The Schools were Kaligonj Karim Uddin Pilot High School, Kakina Mohima Ronjon Smriti High School and Sunarhat High School and College. The schools have so much potential and enthusiastic learners but there were no IT facility in those schools to learn. So, the team decided to pass a whole day with the students to give them some light and inspiration on IT learning. Students were so much enthusiastic and eager to get a glimpse on IT leaning.
The Day was planned with series of sessions and activities on Adobe Photoshop,Computer fundamental, Basic Programming, Effective Interment using, Microsoft Office, Fun gaming session and Quiz Competition. The team showed some documentary video on Daffodil International University’s beautiful campus and the previous activities of Project “KA”.
The students got the basic idea of various IT sectors and the opportunities in those sectors.
The experience of serving voluntarily ultimately brings happiness for the team and encourage them to contribute for the society as part of social responsibility. The students of remote areas got some light and inspiration on IT learning
