The Management of DIU has decided to give a Special Waiver to the students (both Local and International) of Bachelor and Master Programs during COVID-19 situation prevailing world wide with a view to support the affected students.
Management of DIU also decided to provide following special facilities to the students of DIU:
- Maintenance of SGPA will be flexible for Fall 2021 (bi-semester) semester which is required to enjoy waiver.
- All previous (fixed quota) waivers will be continued in the Fall 2021 semester.
Application for Special waiver:
Applications will be entertained only from the registered students and they will get this Special Waiver in addition to their existing waiver (if any).
Terms and Conditions
- To avail the Special waiver during COVID 19 crisis DIU Students must complete the Registration in Fall 2021 and only registered students will be eligible to enjoy this waiver regarding COVID 19 crisis as per the declared schedule.
- An Application will be called through online and students must apply through Online Application Form for this Special Waiver which is mandatory.
- The waiver will be effective for Fall 2021 semester only.
- This waiver will be applicable for both local and International students of Bachelor and Master programs.
- Students of Bachelor Program must take at least 15 credits.
- Students of Master Program must take at least 12-13.
- Similar to Spring 2020, Special waiver during COVID 19 crisis will be provided for Summer 2021 in following ways:

- The waiver will be adjusted with the installment paid before Mid-term and Final Examination.
To enjoy Special Waiver of Covid-19 students have to pay the required fees of Registration, Midterm and Final Examinations (installments of Fall 2021) in due time as per declared schedule time to time.
